Who I am
I’m Andrea, I grew up in Tortona (AL), I currently live inAosta, where my job is.
Things I like
Everything about the mountain, in every season. Hiking,ski-touring, mountain bike, freeride, the only thing that matters to me is thefreedom to go where I want. Just about freedom, my curiosity took me to someother places beside mountains… To study, to work or just for fun, I’ve beenwandering a bit around the world. Here are some places I loved:
- London: I lived there for just few months but I was lucky to change place 6 times… This way I could live the many sides of the city. It’s wonderful how every Borough is such a world apart. I’ve never seen another city with so many different identities.
- California: can’t say what impressed me the most - Yosemite stone walls or Big Sur cliffs? And what about San Francisco?
- New Zealand: I grew up with the idea that this place was Eden. When I finally got there, I discovered that it actually is.
- Last but not least, a place here around the corner: Val Thuras, a small, silent oasis in the ski megalopolis of Turin olympic mountains. No streets, lifts or crowds, just snow tracks, wooden chalets, great ski-touring. In two words: true mountain.
